He loses his first camera. Same expression. He finds out his grandfather’s dead. Same expression. He finds that the old camera given to him can see the future.Same expression. He fights with his girlfriend, Bipasha Basu. Same expression. He proposes to her. Same expression. He fights, runs, falls, shoots… Same… (you get it).
You cant help but compare the first 30 min to Mr. India. The scene where Anil Kapoor discovers that the watch can make him invisible, was so mindblowing, that the jury later admitted that it was that scene that won him the Best Actor award that year.
And what do we get here, Neil Nitin Mukesh, in a flat monotone, explaining to the audience that the camera can see the future. YAWN…..
This movie could have done so much. Never does the tempo rise and never do you really connect with the characters. The music is forgettable, the dialogues lack punch.
And this movie has the unique distinction of the entire cast putting in the most wooden performances of their careers. A big let down, catch this one on cable.
